The rain never materialized last night, but after my lazy day, I just felt like eating something practical close by since my lunch was so late. Besides, zi was down because I realize I was scammed. That unexplained skirmish Thursday night was explained last night when I was packing. All my US cash is gone.
When I was pushed off the wall (low) and I landed on the ground, my backpack was virtually hanging from my shoulder and I was in a bit of shock about what happened. My "rescuers," as I said, seemed kind and concerned for me and they were very attentive and they helped me get my bearings, but part of that involved removing my backpack while I brushed the dirt off me and watched that the aggressive guy kept his distance.
Whilst packing last night, I thought I would check my most important documents and my cask, and there it wasn't. I've been rather upset to be scammed, but at least I did not lose my passport, camera or iPad. The whole thing has soured me a little though.
But today has dawned a beautiful day. It is only 7 degrees this morning, but it will be hot, for sure, later. And the weather for the entire time am in Egypt is predicted to be warm and sunny except tomorrow when I plan to be in the museum anyway. If the afternoon is nice, I will go to the park. If not, I will rely on advice for something to do that is out of the rain.
But today is about travel. Off I go to Cairo!
Location:شارع محمد الخامس,Marrakesh,Morocco
LA Times says 100,000 protesters are in Tahrir Square, so maybe try and go in the back entrance of the Cairo Museum.
