Monday, Tuesday at Elephant Plains

It was 34° and humid when we arrived and we had one nice evening game drive. On Tuesday, it rained but our excellent capes kept us dry and the rain brought the animals out after the heat.

We saw this lady four times and once with her cub.

Bwana on the deck of our beautiful fully loaded cabin.

Bwana's buddy Steve in rain regalia.

Our truck, Louis the guide is in the beige cap. Fen, our tracker, is in the white cap.

This poor guy looked wasted when we first saw him, and we saw him two days in a row, but on the third day we were here, the other jeep saw that he had killed a zebra and had a good meal. He has been turfed from his pride and has only a 40% chance if reaching his majestic full self.
