Re-entry

  1. A two-hour drive from Meno a Kwena with an aching heart leaving XR, the bush baby, behind.
  2. A two-hour wait in Maun for the flight to J'Burg. We left early to accommodate others.
  3. A first insight into my increasing loathing of people taking flights. I get such a hate-on for the "I have to be first" people. It's embarrassing.
  4. A five-hour layover in Johannesburg.
  5. For the first time ever, I slept on a flight—the one from J'Burg to Frankfurt. Thanks to the flight collar (my first time) and a whole Atavan.
  6. Another tedious five-hour layover in Frankfurt. (See #3 above.)
  7. Full, long flight with zillions of babies to Vancouver where friends John, Bunny and Leslie meet me and drive me home and stock my fridge. Friends and animals! Can't beat 'em.
  8. Last time I came home committed to returning. This time, I have no plans. My next project, a play, excites me and until that is done, I am not going to think about travel.
  9. I love being back to high-speed Internet.
  10. See you next time.....
Bwana

 My pal, Oscar.
 Bwana's hand and XR.
BAsically, all of Boitwswana looks like this. Enless flatness, plus the Okavango delta that I did not see. Reason to return...?
